Louis J. Corna has served as an officer of American Reserve Life Insurance Company, Mid-Continent Preferred Life Insurance Company, Liberty Bankers Life Insurance Company, Winnfield Life Insurance Company since 2004, and The Capitol Life Insurance Company since 2007. Also, he has served as an officer of the parent companies, Realty Advisors, Inc. and Heritage Guaranty Holdings, Inc. since 2000. Mr. Corna and his department maintain the corporate records for the insurance companies and he counsels the companies with respect to tax and legal matters.

Mr. Devault joined Liberty Bankers Life Insurance Company in June 2004 and has been an integral part of the design and development of our growing portfolio of fixed annuity products. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of ASI Advisors, Inc., one of the nation's leading annuity marketing and consulting organizations. There, he assisted numerous insurance companies in the development of their products and marketing administrative systems.

Mr. Hayden has served as Director of Investment Strategy for American Reserve Life Insurance Company, Liberty Bankers Life Insurance Company, Mid-Continent Preferred Life Insurance Company, Winnfield Life Insurance Company since August 2006, and The Capitol Life Insurance Company since 2007. Mr. Hayden has over 17 years of professional experience in the Investment Management and research.
Chad A. Leiding, Vice President, Director of Compliance
Mr. Leiding has been Vice President, Director of Compliance for American Reserve Life Insurance Company, Mid-Continent Preferred Life Insurance Company, Liberty Bankers Life Insurance Company, Winnfield Life Insurance Company since January 2006, and The Capitol Life Insurance Company since 2007. Mr. Leiding is responsible for corporate and product filings, coordination of department of insurance examinations, advertising review, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Janice J. Scallorn, Senior Vice President, Life Underwriter
Ms. Scallorn, Senior Vice President Life Underwriter, joined Liberty Bankers Life Insurance Company and The Capitol Life Insurance Company in January 2008. Ms. Scallorn has over twenty years of insurance experience with sixteen years in Underwriting, reinsurance and assumed. She’s held several positions on the assumed side including Chief Underwriter; then in reinsurance working for two large worldwide organizations and holding various reinsurance and underwriting positions including Assistant Director of Underwriting.
Allan Scharton, Executive Vice President, Loan Origination and Underwriting
Mr. Scharton, Executive Vice President, Loan Origination and Underwriting, joined Liberty Bankers Life Insurance Company and The Capitol Life Insurance Company in September 2007. Prior to Liberty Bankers Life, Mr. Scharton served as an officer of Banner Bank, Farmers & Merchants Bank, and Team Leader for Imperial Capital Bank. Mr. Scharton holds a Masters Degree from National University in San Diego.
Michel Simard, Executive Vice President
Mr. Simard has served as Executive Vice President of Liberty Bankers Life since July 2006. He is in charge of new business development for both the life insurance and reinsurance areas. He is actively involved in the development of new life products and of reinsurance relationships.
